ABOUT US

12/13 is a free educational online-course for teenagers aged 11-14, who want to learn more about Jewish history, culture and traditions.

The goal of our project is to provide a set of knowledge necessary for understanding what it means to be a part of Jewish culture and to be a Jew in general.

The program was launched by the Russian Jewish Congress and SKCG Digital Agency in the fall of 2017. SKCG Agency has an extensive portfolio of educational projects, including Booknik: Jewish Texts and Themes and Marabou camp for kids.

The 12/13 program consists of two courses - basic and advanced. Both of them include weekly webinars, educational videos, work-shops, elective lectures and interactive game-tests.

Every semester we improve and update the course curriculum. Course instructors are selected among the teachers of the leading Russian and Israeli universities. Lectures of the past semesters included prominent scholars and educators, such as Mikhail Wogman, Uri Gershovich, Arthur Klempert, Ilya Yuzefovich, Maria Kaspina, Irina Baulina and many others!

At the end of each course, participants implement a project (making an art installation, conducting an open lesson at school, writing an essay and etc.). The most successful participants get a personal invitation to attend the educational camp in Moscow region.

Our courses have been audited by over 1000 participants from 227 cities of the world!

Over 50 children aged 11-14 have attended a final educational camp in Moscow region.
